Bootle Containers designs, builds and refurbishes freight containers and accommodation units for many applications all over the world, particularly in the demanding oil & gas and military sectors. Bootle Containers set rigorous standards for their workforce so that customers can have complete confidence in the quality of their product at every stage of the project, from the initial design to the completed product.

Bootle Containers carefully selects its employees, ensuring that each one is highly skilled and qualified in their area of expertise, from the production to the container sales. Their welders are all industry-approved and their designers are trained in using the most up-to-date 3D drawing and modelling software. In addition, they have members of staff who are qualified in TIG Welding, Leak Testing and NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) who test their products to ensure they always achieve excellence in quality. Knowsley Community College has worked closely in assisting Bootle containers with their apprenticeship programme, with both the recruitment and training of apprentices. .Bootle containers have recruited FE students who have completed both level 1 and level 2 programmes and gained industry recognised qualifications from the College in to full level 2 Apprenticeships and level 3 Advanced Apprenticeships in Fabrication and Welding
