Allingham - Case Study

Care provider, Allingham, offer nursing, residential and dementia care for 86 vulnerable adults. Services they provide include support with personal care, moving and handling, administration, travel to hospital appointments and prompting of medication.

Finding a trusted solution

After experiencing a string of unreliable training providers, Allingham needed a trustworthy company with an excellent track record, as Gulzar Nazir, Manager at Alllingham, explained; “Finding the right provider was not easy; previous trainers were not supporting staff as I feel they should have been. At times they were even left stranded by previous training organisations.”

After spotting advertisements for Knowsley Community College, Allingham contacted them, who soon met with them to discuss their training needs.

Progression

After signing up 30 learners to undertake a variety of short courses, some then progressed onto both Level 2 and Level 3 Apprenticeships.
