We are delighted that your son/daughter has chosen St Helens College to further their studies. We are committed to providing a quality learning environment and will do our very best to ensure they receive a first class learning experience and ensure that they have access to the support they require to help them successfully achieve their qualifications and make plans for future progress.

Your son/daughter will be allocated a Progress Coach whilst they are studying with us and they will monitor their progress throughout their course. If you have any questions, concerns or issues that you would like to discuss regarding their studies or their experiences in College, please do not hesitate to contact them directly.

To ensure that your son/daughter has the best chance of successfully achieving their qualifications, excellent attendance and punctuality is vital. They are required to attend every session as stated on their timetable. Evidence reflects that a student with poor attendance is limiting their opportunities to succeed. Therefore, we monitor attendance very carefully and take early interventions if we believe that non-attendance is going to have an adverse impact on their studies. We would, therefore, request that holidays are not taken in term time.
