T Levels are a two-year qualification, designed by leading businesses and employers to give you a head start towards your career!

They are an alternative to A levels, BTECs and apprenticeships and include a 45-day industry placement. They also carry the same number of UCAS points as three A levels, which means you could choose to progress on to university, into employment or on to a higher/degree apprenticeship.

What T-Levels are available with us?

Construction Electrotechnical Engineering 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English language and science and a grade 5 in maths.
Construction Plumbing and Heating 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English language, maths and science.
Education and Childcare Early Years Educator 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English language and maths and a clear DBS.
Engineering Fabrication and Welding 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English language and science and a grade 5 in maths.
Health Supporting the Adult Nursing Team 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English language, maths and science.

Do I have to find the industry placement?

We’ll do this together! We’ll support you to find and secure your industry placement to ensure it matches your career aspirations and aligns to your T Level route. We already have great relationships with local and regional employers, which means you’ll get the most out of your work experience.

What support is available?

You will be fully supported by your course tutor and progress coach throughout your studies including access to the College’s dedicated safeguarding and mental health wellbeing team.

What’s the difference between a T-Level and an apprenticeship?

Apprenticeships are paid work, suitable for students who know what occupation they want to pursue and wish to train ‘on the job’ (80% in the workplace, 20% off the job). T Levels are largely classroom based, with a significant industry placement (80% in the classroom, 20% in the workplace).

What can a T Level lead to?

T Levels can lead to university, a higher/degree apprenticeship or employment!

Why have T-Levels been developed?

T Levels are a big part of the Government’s plan to transform education in the UK. They will create a new generation of highly skilled workers that the UK needs for its future economy to be successful.
