KCC Apprentice succeeds with Inspire Childrens Services

Course: Advanced Apprenticeship for the Children & Young People’s Workforce-Social Care Pathway.

Matthew attended KCC from 17/7/12 – 23/10/13 and completed his full apprenticeship with Michelle Brown including Level 3 Children & Young People’s Workforce Diploma, Maths Functional Skills, English Functional Skills, ICT Functional Skills and ERR, all at L2.

Matthew was committed to his course throughout and often completed additional research to ensure he gained as much knowledge as he could. Matthew’s job role was that of a residential care worker, caring for young people in a home environment. Matt has since received a challenging promotion and is now in post as deputy manager for his company. Matthew, amongst other duties, now supports colleagues who are completing their own Childcare Diploma with the college and within his role, does everything he can to help and support them to achieve. Well done Matthew!
