Visitor Economy Week

Knowsley Community College is proud to be part of Liverpool City Region’s Visitor Economy Week, taking place across the borough from the 8th of February.
The 4 days of activity will showcase the variety of opportunities and the diverse skills associated with the region’s growing visitor economy, through exciting ‘have-a-go’ workshops for secondary and primary school students.
The week aims to provide a taste of what life can be like working in hospitality, retail, tourism and travel. You are invited to join us for what will be a fun, informative and interactive programme of activity designed to give the next generation the chance to get involved with the visitor economy!

9th February - Master Class in Breadmaking
9th February - Master Class in plated desserts | Develop your Creative Skills
10th February - Master Class in Shellfish and Fishmongery
10th February - Master Class in Fresh Pasta
11th February - Master Class in Handmade Chocolates | Experience the Artisan World of Chocolate

The week’s events will conclude with a prize giving ceremony at the City’s prestigious Princes Dock supported by Peel Ports.
