Students Praised for Supporting National Football Charity
November 27, 2015
Knowsley Community College Sports Therapy students have been praised for their hard work by recognised football organisation, Football Aid.
The charity, which allow fans the chance to experience playing football at the Club they support, turned to the College for support with pitch side first aid and sports massage, both pre and post-match for their ‘Live The Dream’ events that take place throughout the year.
Tammy Lennon, Sports Therapy Tutor at KCC stated; ‘Working with charities such as Football Aid gives the students hands-on experience and real industry exposure. I was very proud of how professional and dedicated our students were across the different Live the Dream events that they assisted with’.
David Dale, CEO at Football Aid said; ‘We would like to thank the staff and students from Knowsley Community College for their invaluable support at our Football Aid events during the 2015 schedule. The advice and treatments on offer from your team helps to facilitate the overall experience for the participants and without question assists with the overall professionalism of the event. We were hugely impressed with, and grateful for, the time and energy that you and your team dedicated to Football Aid.’
They go on to say; ‘The positive attitude you show to those attending on the day should also be applauded. We look forward to working with the team at Knowsley Community College in the seasons ahead.’
The tutors and students are looking forward to continue their support with Football Aid at upcoming matches.
