Students collaborate on spooky looks

Yesterday, our Level 1 Hairdressing students and our Level 3 Theatrical, Special Effects, Hair and Media Makeup students worked together to create impressive spooky looks as part of their assessments.

The Media Makeup students had their hair styled by the Hairdressing students, who in turn chose their own Halloween makeup looks which the Media Makeup students recreated.

This was the Hairdressing students’ first summative assessment and the first time that they have worked on clients other than classmates. They were assessed on their consultation and styling skills and their ability to promote products and services.

It’s great to see our students collaborating and supporting each other across curriculum areas.
