Sports Students Train with Saints

Today our Level 1 and 2 Sports students took part in a coaching and development session with Saints.

Leading today’s session was Craig Richards, Coaching and Education Manager at St Helens RLFC, who worked with the students on their coaching techniques and team leading skills.

These valuable sessions are delivered following the recent partnership between Knowsley Community College and Saints Community Development Team to provide a Centre of Excellence for Rugby League in Merseyside.

The partnership provides the local and wider community with access to healthy recreation facilities for playing rugby league and other sports, providing a home for all development work in Liverpool.

These sessions bring great benefits for the students at KCC who have access to numerous training and development sessions with Saints coaches giving them the opportunity to enhance their coaching skills and gain first-hand experience delivering sessions to local primary school children.
