Public Service Students Put Their Fitness to the Test At Army Week

Public Service Students recently attended a testing Army Camp at Altcar Army Barracks in which they were taught Leadership Skills, Military Discipline, Fieldcraft, Orienteering, Teamwork skills and Team Events, Assault Course Competition and Military Fitness.

At the end of the week, the Army staff presented awards to Emma Woods for most improved student of the course and to Laura Harper and Stevielea Woods-Brown for female students of the week.

Nathan Rogers was the first Knowlsey male student to run the mile and a half fitness test in the quickest time.

The week pushed our students to their limits in terms of physicality and resilience and they came out of it with flying colours.
