Our Apprenticeships Team and Business Development Team were pleased to welcome a number of our valued employers for our Employer Breakfast as part of the College’s #nationalapprenticeshipweek celebrations.

The event was a key contribution to the continuing drive of the College to partner with local employers to help shape curriculum, to ensure it sufficiently meets the skills demands of our employers and industry.

In attendance, was award-winning development and property services, HMS, who are long standing partners of the College and have over 50 apprentices across a number of construction trades.

Paul Worthington, Managing Director at HMS, said:

St Helens College provides a dedicated account management service and helps support our annual apprenticeship recruitment by hosting assessment events and facilitating the candidate selection process through to enrolment and on boarding. This significantly reduces the impact of time and resource it would take to do this ourselves. The College is a key partner in the successful development of our apprentice team members and actively encourages HMS to shape the curriculum, to suit changing demands we face.
