Kickstarting #CollegesWeek2023 with inspiring visit from Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation

What a great way to kick start week two of #CollegesWeek2023 than with a pair of inflatable lungs.

A big thank you to Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation for visiting our Level 3 Health and Social Care students today to talk all about lung health, anatomy, and the important role that they play in our bodies.

The students also got to hear all about the Foundation’s amazing work to support lung cancer, including the various fundraising events and volunteering opportunities they could be involved with, as well as careers in the field.

The students came away feeling inspired after hearing all about the different roles within Cancer research, including the laboratory work the Foundations’ clinical scientists do to help towards this research.
