College Students Help Staff Unwind At Health And Well Being Day

Students at Knowsley Community College recently put their training into action at a local health and wellbeing day where they delivered a range of beauty and relaxation services for staff.

The event, which took place on Friday 15 May 2015, was organised by Informatics Merseyside, an NHS Information Management and Technology (IM&T) service, as part of their on-going commitment to help keep staff healthy and happy.

Catering for both men and women, the students delivered a range of relaxation and beauty treatments on site throughout the day, including hand and arm massages and shellac nail appointments.

Julie Mealey, Project Coordinator at Informatics Merseyside said: “The feedback I have received about the day has been extremely positive, particularly in relation to the beauty and relaxation treatments delivered by the students, all of whom delivered a professional service which helped make the day special for our staff. Thank you!”
