College Celebrates Children in Need 2021

Students and staff from both St Helens College and Knowsley Community College put on their Pudsey ears and took part in a range of fundraising activities in aid of Children in Need.

Kicking off the activities, our Childcare students hosted a cake sale and a range of activities at the St Helens College Town Centre Campus. Staff and students took part in a raffle, tombola, bingo and an I’m A Celebrity-inspired challenge.

Meanwhile, our Childcare and Sports students at Knowsley Community College took part in a charity dodgeball tournament, whilst our Supported Learning students hosted an amazing DanceDeskDrumathon, filling our Knowsley Community College Main Campus foyer with excitement to raise money for the charity and new sports equipment for our students.

Finishing the activities, the Maths and English department at St Helens College hosted a Rag Tag Day where students and staff were sponsored to wear their clothes inside-out and collected donations throughout the day.

We are excited to announce that across both Colleges the staff and students have raised an impressive £650!
