Changes to our Admissions Process

Monday 23rd March 2020

Admissions Process: Applicants under 18 years of age

Following the Government announcement regarding the closure of schools and colleges, we are changing our admissions process for those wanting to study with us from September 2020.

The College is still accepting and processing all applications, we are just changing the process for interviews and the issuing of “offers”. We are suspending all face-to-face interviews for the moment but hope to be able to reinstate these as soon as we are able to do so.

Please do not worry if you have not yet applied, simply continue to apply to us as normal by completing and submitting your application here.

Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an email from our Admissions Team confirming that we have received and are processing your application. Shortly after, you will then receive a “Conditional Offer” letter via email.

If you are an adult (aged 19 and above), looking to start an adult course, a short, leisure course, an Access to HE course or a part-time degree, please continue with your application here.

Until we know what the Government is proposing to do with GCSE grades and results following the cancellation of this year’s exams, we will not be in a position to confirm your level of study. However, please be assured that we will follow all Government advice to ensure that you will not be disadvantaged as a result of this. We are a large College with courses starting at Level 1 to Level 3 in most subjects, so we will have a course that is right for you.

As soon as the Government instructs that we can re-open, we will notify you of any changes to the interview process, but until then, you will have a place to study with us from September.

If you have already applied and attended an Interview Event, you do not need to do anything. We will write to you in July/August with information on when to come in to enrol.

Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
