Bricklaying students receive a visit from Keepmoat Social Value Manager

Our Bricklaying students received a visit from Keepmoat’s Social Value Manager, Julie at our IAMTech campus.

Keepmoat is one of the UKs top 10 home builders, designing, planning, and building both small and large scale developments across the country, with a development situated right next door to our campus!

Julie spoke all about the company and their career opportunities, and having worked for Keepmoat for over 12 years, Julie shared a lot of her industry knowledge and the different roles and trades that are involved in bringing the development phase to completion.

Julie shared some important messages about employer expectations including attitude and punctuation, and ideas on how the students can maximise their opportunities within the local area, encouraging them to start thinking about their long-term career goals, and the steps they need to take to get there.
