WorkWorld at Knowsley Community College offers you the opportunity to undertake free, short courses. Our courses are ideal for jobseekers, anyone needing to improve their skills to apply for higher-level courses, or to improve employment prospects. Many courses lead to nationally accredited qualifications to enhance your CV.

When will I start the course and how long will it take?

With flexible start dates you can start a course at any time during the year and study during the day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays and takes 2 weeks to complete.

This course is delivered at our Main Campus, Stockbridge Lane, Huyton, L36 3SD.

Do I need any previous qualifications to start this course?

No formal qualifications are required although some experience of a basic use of IT and using a computer would be an advantage.

What can I go on to do once I have completed this course?

Successfully achieving certification in ITQ can open the door to a whole range of employment and career progression opportunities. This qualification is widely recognised by employers. You could choose to progress onto the Level 2 ITQ Certificate in IT User Skills.
