Extended Diploma in Engineering Technologies
Engineering & Manufacturing | Level 3

About
You’ll study the principles and theories of engineering for a solid grounding in the industry. You’ll go on to study advanced manufacturing techniques, CNC automation and machining, CAD and 3D design/print and much more, in state of the art workshops. You’ll also go out into industry, gaining important work experience to apply your knowledge and build your employability skills.

Entry requirements
At least 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (new grading 4-9), including English and/or maths, and appropriate subjects. Or, Full Level 2 vocational qualification, and GCSE English Grade C/grade 4/Functional Skills Level 2, with GCSE maths Grade D/Functional Skills Level 1.

Progression and Careers
Upon completion of this, you can progress onto our HND programmes, or onto university. You could also progress into employment, or onto a higher apprenticeship in Engineering.
