Level 2 VTCT Diploma in Hair and Media Make-Up

About

This Level 2 study programme has been specifically designed to enable you to learn both aspects of hairdressing and media makeup. It will provide you with all the skills and techniques for applying makeup or photographic makeup and the creative art of dressing hair.

Entry requirements

At least 4 GCSEs or equivalent at Grade D (new grading 3), including English and/or maths. Or, Pass/Merit in a relevant full Level 1 vocational programme (a minimum of Merit for BTEC courses), and working at Functional Skills Level 1 maths/IT as appropriate to course.

Assessed

The majority of assessment will be through an internally assessed portfolio of evidence with a smaller proportion of external question papers set by the awarding body.

Progression and Careers

Upon completion of this, you could progress on to our Level 3 programmes in Beauty Therapy or Media Makeup.
