EAL Diploma in Electrical Installation
Electrical Engineering | Level 2

About
The Level 2 study programme allows you to acquire knowledge and craft skills of electrical installation utilising the IET On-Site guide, as well as being introduced to how regulations, including BS 7671, affect electrical installation. The qualification covers standard circuits as described in the On-Site guide.

Entry requirements
At least 4 GCSEs or equivalent at Grade D (new grading 3), including English and/or maths. Or, Pass/Merit in a relevant full Level 1 vocational programme (a minimum of Merit for BTEC courses), and working at Functional Skills Level 1 maths/IT as appropriate to course.
Finance
If you are a school leaver, aged 16-18, (under the age of 19 on or before 31st August 2018), you do not pay tuition fees or examination and registration fees. Our financial support service, known as ‘College Pays’, is designed to assist students with the costs involved with studying at College. Depending on your circumstances, we have different levels of support.
