KCC and Learners in Cumbria Launch Distance Learning Project

Gray Healthcare is the leading specialist provider of individually tailored community based psychiatric rehabilitation, which is provided nationally in the clients’ own home. The head office is based Gray Healthcare, West Tower, Brook Street, Liverpool L3 9PJ.

Knowsley Community College and Gray Healthcare have joined together in partnership to support staff with two units covering Certificate in Mental Health Awareness and Certificate in Principles of Working with Individuals with Learning Disabilities. This will help the staff members to develop their knowledge and understanding which will enhance their job role.

The project covers distance learning using E-Assessor which is easy to use both for the learners and Assessor/Trainer. The learners are able to complete either one or two units. The project currently has 33 staff members enrolled and progressing.

Karl Newman, from Gray Healthcare, and KCC are looking forward to continuing this partnership and growing this project which will be open to all his staff members within the company.
