144 LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA INWORK BASED HORTICULTURE You will advance your skills and gain in-depth knowledge of amenity horticulture, with the opportunity to specialise in sports turf or decorative horticulture. Working across various locations across the borough, you will be putting your skills in to practice in preparation for your career in the industry. Entry Requirements: Two GCSEs at grade 4 or above, and/or a level 2 Horticulture qualification. Duration: 1 year. Progression: You could progress onto an apprenticeship or into employment. LEVEL 1 DIPLOMA INWORK BASED HORTICULTURE Learn about all aspects of Horticulture including landscaping, growing plants from seeds, preparing and maintaining plants and turf using wide range of tools and equipment. LEVEL 2 DIPLOMA INWORK BASED HORTICULTURE You will work across a range of parks and open spaces to create decorative areas, establish and maintain plants and prepare ground. You will also have the opportunity to explore decorative horticulture practices, nursery and interior soft landscaping maintenance or green keeping, sports turf and sports ground maintenance. Entry Requirements: There are no formal entry requirements. Just passion and commitment to your studies. Duration: 1 year. Progression: Level 2 Diploma in Work Based Horticulture.
