Knowsley Community College is working in partnership with the University of Liverpool and One Ark to deliver an exciting new pre-apprenticeship programme!
Key Information
This is a 6-month programme and there are only 10 places available, which will range across a wide variety of departments at the University of Liverpool such as human resources, teaching laboratories, IT, security, finance and academic faculty.
The programme will take place from 25th February 2019 to 23rd August 2019.
Entry Criteria
You must be aged 16-17 and have or expect to achieve GCSE grades 2 or 3 (D, E or F) in your English and maths.
What to Expect
Successful applicants will spend one day a week at College, based at Knowsley Community College’s Main Campus, working towards achieving a level 1 or level 2 qualification in functional skills plus a certificate in employability, and the remaining four days will be based in the workplace.
Benefits
You will earn £152.25 per week including 12 paid holidays and bank holidays, and also a free travel pass for either the bus or train.
You will also be entitled to full College support such as a free breakfast and a free Microsoft Office 365 package.
