Staff promote active travel

As part of Knowsley’s Active Travel Project, Knowsley Community College took part in a prize draw to raise awareness of the benefits in walking and cycling to work.

The project, funded by the Department for Transport through the Local Sustainable Transport Fund, also intends to make local businesses and their staff more aware of active travel options available to them and improve health and wellbeing.

With active travel prizes up for grabs, our staff entered an online survey to find out how the college travels to work. Winners were announced and prizes were handed out by KCC Deputy Principal, Gill Banks. The lucky winners were Jimmy Treadell, Gillian Geary and Arthur Winn.
