St Helens and Knowsley Community College celebrate fantastic GCSE resit results

St Helens College and Knowsley Community College are once again celebrating a fantastic set of results, achieving a 99% overall GCSE Maths and English resits pass rate.

Friends Elena and Maja, both studying Health and Social Care, shared their experience with the College. Elena, who achieved GCSE Maths Grade 4 and has plans to become a physiotherapist said, “The tutors were really helpful and specialised the learning for each student.”

Maja gained a Grade 4 in GCSE English and aims to progress to university to study Social Work. She said, “My tutor was great, he made the lessons fun which made learning much easier.”

Congratulations are also in order for Dacquine, who was delighted to have earned a Grade 4 in GCSE English! After completing her Health and Social Care course, she had ambitions to pursue a career in nursing.

Charleigh joined us from Childwall Sports and Science Academy and achieved Grade 4 in English. She has dreams to study Forensic Science at university after completing her course at college.

Level 2 Beauty student Lacey, who joined us from The Academy of St Francis of Assisi, achieved a Grade 4 in GCSE English. She plans to progress to Level 3 at college before travelling the world as a cruise ship Beauty Therapist.
