National Apprenticeship Week 2025

Monday 10th – Sunday 16th February 2025

During National Apprenticeship Week 2025, we celebrated the success of apprenticeships, whilst encouraging more people to consider apprenticeships as their pathway to a great career!

We had an exciting week of activity, showcasing our current apprentices, promoting apprenticeship opportunities to both young people and adults, and demonstrating how employers can benefit from employing an apprentice.

  • Celebration Friday: Student Successes

    As part of National Apprenticeship Weeks ‘Celebration Friday’, we have been reflecting on some of our apprentices’ amazing achievements from the past year.

    We are incredibly proud of all our apprentices and love celebrating their fantastic successes!

  • Celebration Friday: Kyle – Case Work Assistant Apprentice

    It’s Day 5 of National Apprenticeship Week, and today is Celebration Friday!

    We’re thrilled to introduce Kyle, who began at Knowsley College on the Supported Internship Programme with Knowsley Council. After impressing the team and winning Supported Intern of the Year, Kyle secured a full-time apprenticeship with Knowsley Council and now works within the SEND team as a Case Work Assistant.

    To celebrate T Level Thursday we spoke with Emma, Early Years Lead at Kirkby CofE Primary School. Since September, she’s been mentoring Megan, one of our T Level Early Years students.

    Emma shared her insights on Megan’s experience so far, the importance of placements, and the benefits they provide.
