KCC Football Team soar to the top of the Merseyside League

Knowsley Community College’s male football team reached the top of the league in Merseyside after winning every match they have played.

The team were up against oppositions including Everton Sixth Form, LFC Foundation College and most recently Birkenhead Sixth form, to whom they won 8-1.

Tammy Lennon, Section Manager for Sport at KCC said, ‘The team has performed exceptionally well this year and their hard work and commitment combined with talented players has been reflected in the teams results and positive performance.’

The team are next up against Delasalle in the new year, where they hope to continue their winning streak.
