KCC Celebrate International Women’s Day

Students at Knowsley Community College marked International Women’s Day at Torrington Drive’s Community Association event. Based at the Neighbourhood Centre, the event saw over 100 people attend, with activities and information to celebrate the world wide event.

As part of the event, KCC hair and beauty students were on hand to provide free hair and nails treatments to all attendees.

Customers commented on how well the treatments were organised by tutors, Angelina Garvey and Lisa Linnell, and were impressed by how professional the students were; ‘what a great day it had been!’
