Inclusive Learning Students Shine at Dragons’ Den Pop-Up Event
May 15, 2026
Our Inclusive Learning students joined young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to take part in a Dragons’ Den-style pop-up sale day at QVC UK’s Knowsley office. The event gave the students from across Knowsley the opportunity to put their business ideas into practice, while raising money for charities supported by the retailer.
Students pitched their ideas to judges from QVC and Knowsley Council before developing products and planning their stalls. They were then invited to the QVC site for a live pop-up sale day, alongside their peers from SEND schools and colleges across Knowsley.
The event provided learners with the chance to showcase their abilities, to build their confidence and to take pride in their work. Students said it helped them to develop key skills such as communication, teamwork, money handling and problem solving.
Delivered through partnership working between Knowsley Council, QVC UK, schools, colleges and support staff, the event aimed to provide a meaningful, real-life learning experience to support young people in developing skills for the future.
