Accountant Lucy takes steps to success!

Adult student Lucy successfully secured a place to study Accounting after attending an Enrolment and Information Event at Knowsley Community College. Lucy was already working in a small company, but wanted to further her skills and progress her career.

Lucy said, “I was working at a small company and needed a formal qualification to get into the Accounting role I had always wanted. I had never thought about going back to college, when browsing online I saw an advert for an Enrolment and Information Event at Knowsley Community College. I went along and met with the course tutors. The course was the perfect stepping stone for me to progress my career.”

“After being out of education for so long I was a bit nervous to get back in the classroom. I knew the course would provide me with the technical skills I needed to help me land an Accounting role,” said Lucy.

Lucy adds, “My proudest moment whilst studying at College is achieving a Distinction in my AAT level 2 Certificate in Accounting. I couldn’t have done it without the support of the course tutors. They were really helpful and supportive. I enjoyed studying the course so much that I advanced on to the level 3 Accounting course.”

“I would definitely recommend the Accounting courses to people thinking of getting back into education; the courses provide you with the technical skills you need to advance your career.”
