Entry Requirements This A level covers the following units: • Factors affecting participation in physical activity and sport, such as the cardiorespiratory cardiovascular systems, the musculoskeletal system, energy, skills acquisition, theories of learning and performance, and giving feedback and guidance • Sport in society including class and gender differences • Physiology including injury, movement and motion • Sports psychology and technology You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in various sports, and will be assessed as a coach or performer in a specific area of sport. Students can progress on to the FdSc in Exercise, Health and Fitness at University Centre St Helens, validated by University of Chester. There is also a wide variety of other sport-related degrees to choose from at universities across the country.
