HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE REAL EXPERIENCES HEALTH PROMOTION EVENT Level 3 students hosted a health promotion event to educate other students and staff across the College to raise awareness of the effects of obesity and drug and alcohol abuse. LEVEL 1 HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE/EARLY YEARS Develop your knowledge and awareness of the health and childcare professions. Explore many health related topics from healthy living, principles of care, health and safety and mental health. LEVEL 2 DIPLOMA IN HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE Gain the essential skills and knowledge needed to work in the healthcare sector. You will learn healthcare practice, physical and emotional care, dementia and how to care for patients with learning disabilities. Entry Requirements: Two or more GCSEs at grade 2, including English and/or maths. Duration: 1 year. Progression: Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care or level 2 Diploma in Early Years and Care. Entry Requirements: Four GCSEs or equivalent at grade 3 including English and/or maths. Duration: 1 year. Progression: Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care or level 3 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care. 137
