ART AND DESIGN REAL EXPERIENCES ELIZABETHAN FAYRE Students worked alongside a professional artist on a public commission to produce Elizabethan Trade Models to exhibit at the annual Prescot Elizabethan Fayre. The project was commissioned to celebrate and showcase the local history and heritage of the area. LEVEL 2 BTEC DIPLOMA IN ART AND DESIGN Gain practical skills through all forms of art disciplines including, drawing, printmaking, painting, 3D work and photography. Your experience will be enhanced with trips to museums and galleries to gain an awareness of a range of traditional and contemporary artists to inform your work. LEVEL 3 BTEC EXTENDED DIPLOMA IN ART AND DESIGN Building upon your existing knowledge and skills you will explore creative processes more deeply through both practical and theoretical units. You will specialise in an area of art that is of interest to you and showcase your artwork at your own end of year exhibition. Entry Requirements: Up to three GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English and/or maths. Duration: 1 year. Progression: Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma. 89 Entry Requirements: Four GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and/or maths and an art related subject. Duration: 2 years. Progression: Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at University Centre St Helens.
