PROFESSIONAL SKILLS PROGRAMME Each Professional Skills Programme, designed by industry experts, combine academic knowledge with professional skills and valuable work experience. It demonstrates to employers and universities that you have what it takes to succeed in your future career. They also provide exclusive placements with high profile employers, masterclasses with guest speakers from industry, realistic work environments to ensure state-of-the- art learning, extra enrichment initiatives and the development of valuable employability skills. By studying a combination of A levels and BTEC qualifications, this enables you to not only demonstrate your strong academic ability and self-motivation with A level study but your organisational and communication skills due to the practical nature of vocational/BTEC courses. Level 3 BTECs carry UCAS Tariff Points which are equivalent to what you would achieve with A levels, ensuring that you are still able to progress on to university.
