Entry Requirements During this two year A level, you will study the following: • Particles, quantum phenomena and electricity • Mechanics, materials and waves • Investigative and practical skills • Fields and further mechanics • Nuclear and thermal physics You will also have the opportunity to choose from the following units: • Astrophysics • Medical physics • Applied physics • Turning points in physics This A level will also enable you to develop valuable skills including problem-solving, analytical thinking and evaluation. Studying A level Physics allows you to progress on to a range of university degrees from physics, engineering and computer science to medicine, health studies or sports science.
