CONSTRUCTION REAL EXPERIENCES LIVE PROJECT BRIEF Students put their skills into practice designing and constructing a sleigh for the local, Hillside Neighbourhood Centre. The project allowed students to gain experience working on a live project. 109 LEVEL 1 PLUMBING Learn how to use the tools of the trade while mastering the art of pipe bending and soldering techniques. You will also gain practical experience of installing bathrooms and heating systems. LEVEL 2 PLUMBING Enhance your skills in cutting, measuring, threading, fixing and piecing together copper. Gain an understanding of low carbon technology, renewable energy, electrical cables and pressure testing. Entry Requirements: GCSEs at grade 3 or above in English and maths. Duration: 1 Year. Progression: Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing. Entry Requirements: GCSEs at grade 4 or above in English and maths and a level 1 qualification. Duration: 1 Year. Progression: You could progress onto an apprenticeship or into employment.
