CATERING REAL EXPERIENCES VISITOR ECONOMY WEEK Students took part in a celebratory dinner at The Richmond Hotel in Liverpool, as part of Visitor Economy Week 2018, helping to prepare and create delicious desserts and petit fours to be served to special guests. Students gained first-hand experience working within a busy kitchen environment. LEVEL 1 DIPLOMA IN INTRODUCTION TO PROFESSIONAL COOKERY Develop the skills you need to start your career as a Chef in a rapidly growing industry. Study key principles such as menu planning, food preparation, dietary needs, food safety and knife skills. You’ll get to know the kitchen equipment and start cooking your first dishes. LEVEL 2 NVQ FOOD PRODUCTION AND COOKING Broaden your knowledge in the kitchen and expand your cooking skills gaining experience in preparing meat, poultry and shellfish. Learn how to use stocks and sauces to make delicious recipes and master the art of making complex desserts. Entry Requirements: There are no formal entry requirements. Just passion and commitment to your studies. Duration: 1 year. Progression: Level 2 NVQ Food Production and Cooking.
