VTCT Diploma in Barbering

About

Preparing learners for employment as a junior barber, this qualification includes all the required elements to work effectively, including: health and safety; client consultation; shampooing and conditioning; basic haircuts; blowdry and finishing and cutting facial hair to shape.

Barbering

Entry requirements

At least 4 GCSEs or equivalent at Grade D (new grading 3), including English and/or maths. Or, Pass/Merit in a relevant full Level 1 vocational programme (a minimum of Merit for BTEC courses), and working at Functional Skills Level 1 maths/IT as appropriate to course.

Finance

If you are a school leaver, aged 16-18, (under the age of 19 on or before 31st August 2018), you do not pay tuition fees or examination and registration fees. Our financial support service, known as ‘College Pays’, is designed to assist students with the costs involved with studying at College. Depending on your circumstances, we have different levels of support.
