BTEC Diploma in Performing Arts - Music (QCF) - L2
Course Description
This is a practically based, work-related course, which will enable you to progress to a Level 3 course. You will learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic work situations. You will have access toinstrumental workshops, and a purpose-built recording studio. You will be using state-of-the-art computers throughout the course. You will perform in regular gigs in popular venues as well as in College.
Entry Requirements
GCSE resits: Minimum 4 Grade Ds one of which must be English and/or Maths Pass in relevant Level 1 Vocational Qualification and overall Merit for BTEC Courses and working at Key Skills/Functional Skills Level 1 English (Maths and IT may be needed)

Assessment: Assessed through continuous assessment of practical and written assignments, mainly assessed by your tutors. Each assignment is awarded a Pass, Merit or Distinction.
