Huge investment in Knowsley Community College is apparent from the modern, glass atrium of the main entrance of the Kirkby centre to the clean lines of the new 60,000 square foot extension at the Roby centre. The appearance of the centre is contemporary and inviting, and the purpose built accommodations and facilities for each area of the college completes the impressive interior. The result is a progressive, learning environment where students and lecturers are confident about what they can achieve.

The college features computer-enabled classrooms and learning centres, industry standard workshops , a large sports hall and fitness centre, a 200-seat performance theater, two screening rooms, three recording studios, a new music suite and more. There is a student-run silver service restaurant, which is supervised by the college's award-winning Catering section, a beauty salon and barbershop, which is supervised by the college's outstanding Hair & Beauty Therapy section, - all of which are open to the public.
