Vocational Awards Ceremony 2008 - 14/11/2008
On Thursday 6th November, Knowsley Community College hosted its annual Celebration of Achievement Awards Ceremony at the Kirkby Suite.
Students who successfully completed Advanced and Higher level Vocational courses in 2008, gathered to receive recognition for all their hard work. It is the College's way of saying 'Well Done' to students and provides an opportunity for employers, parents, relatives and friends to join in the celebrations as well.
The last academic year was a very successful one for the College and a record number of vocational students used their qualifications to continue their studies at university.
A fantastic evening was had by all and alongside the awards, the night included entertainment from local singer/songwriter Andrew Coleman, and guest speeches from Patricia McDonagh from the AAT, Gary mallon from the Lifelong Learning Network and Paula Cain from Knowsley Chamber of Commerce.
