Graham Wright
Graham was appointed to the Governing Body in October 2007. He is a Roby resident, educated at Roby Comprehensive and subsequently at Balliol College, Oxford. Graham taught at university and in further education before qualifying as a solicitor in 1992. Since then he has been in private practice in a variety of legal fields and currently works as a consultant for a law firm in Warrington.
Graham has been a governor in a number of primary and secondary schools and is currently governor of Malvern CP and St Margaret Mary VA Primary. Graham has been a Knowsley councillor since 1998; he chaired the Education, Training and Scrutiny committee (2002 -2006) and is currently the cabinet member for Children's Services. He is also a non-executive director of the Knowsley Primary Care Trust where he chairs the audit committee.
Graham is a member of the F&GP committee and his expertise is in law and the local community.
