Equality and Diversity
Knowsley Community College is fully committed to improving the opportunities for all of its learners regardless of their background and circumstance. This is articulated in one of the five Strategic Aims.

‘To promote an ethos of inclusivity, equality and diversity ensuring every person is valued and supported’.

One of the methods the College is adopting to address this Strategic Aim is to analyse student data and identify its key priorities to close the achievement gap. This also addresses a duty under the Equality Act 2010, to identify our Equality priorities and to consult stakeholders.

You will find below a series of tables that analyse the student cohort in a variety of ways. For example we break down the figures by age, disability, gender and ethnicity. We analyse by areas of learning (Sections) and consider participation, attendance rates and progression statistics.

We invite you to review our data and add any comments or questions that you might have, at the end. We will be happy to respond to such comments / questions.
