How can I afford to go to College without EMA?
This is a question many students are asking, since the Government’s decision to abolish EMA for the majority of 16 to 18 year olds was announced.

If you choose to study at Knowsley Community College, we can help to ease your worries.

Our ‘College Pays’ package offers all students aged 16-18 who are not in receipt of EMA*:

Help with travel for those living more than 1.5 miles away from the College
Lunch costs
